HEHE!
I LIED.
Hi, I'm Huzaifa — a motion graphics designer obsessed with rhythm, weight and reveal. Everything here reacts. Push the field around.

Real-time engines, the full Adobe pipeline, broadcast graphics, and a generative AI stack — whatever the shot needs.
I'm Huzaifa Rafiq, a motion graphics designer and 3D artist based in Dubai. I build the graphics that open television programmes, brand a channel, explain a product and carry a story in its first ten seconds — broadcast openers, title sequences, channel idents, 3D animation and AI-assisted video.
Day to day I design motion graphics for Almashhad, a Dubai-based Arabic news and entertainment channel, where my work goes to air across broadcast and smart-TV platforms. Alongside that I've spent five-plus years making motion and video for software and technology companies including Securiti AI, Data Science Dojo, Trout, Ignite Labs and Metro by T-Mobile. The visual identity I designed for the talk show Andi Soual went on to be named an Apple Podcasts Best of 2025 pick and to win the Shams Award for Best Arabic Podcast 2025.
The toolkit is After Effects and Blender 3D at the centre, with Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator around it, and a generative AI stack — Runway ML and friends — wherever it genuinely beats the traditional route. I work comfortably in Arabic and English typography, which in this region matters more than most portfolios admit.
Six things I'm hired for, each with the real work behind it.
News opens, programme packages, lower thirds, idents and on-air toolkits built to survive a live gallery and look right on a 65‑inch screen.
See the work →Modelling, shading, lighting and rendering in Blender 3D — architectural builds, product animation, logo dimensionalisation, holographic worlds.
See the work →The opening sixty seconds of a show: typography, texture, pacing and a reveal that sets the register before a word is spoken.
See the work →Custom-illustrated, frame-considered 2D — product explainers, collage promos, character-led social pieces that hold attention past three seconds.
See the work →Full sequences produced through AI pipelines, and hybrid shots where generative elements sit inside traditional 3D and compositing.
See the work →Arabic typography, calligraphy and right-to-left layouts animated properly — not English design with Arabic dropped in afterwards.
See the work →Thirteen pieces — broadcast, brand and self-initiated. Scroll up for the interactive reel, or read the full breakdowns.

Adobe After Effects and Blender 3D are the core. Around them: Premiere Pro for edit, Photoshop and Illustrator for artwork, and a generative AI stack including Runway ML for shots where generative production genuinely beats the traditional pipeline. The Menna Wa Fena Season 2 title sequence was produced end-to-end with AI tools.
Yes. A large share of the broadcast work is Arabic-language — calligraphy idents, right-to-left title cards and Arabic typography animated with correct shaping and rhythm rather than treated as decoration. That is a specific skill and it is rarer in the Gulf market than the number of studios claiming it suggests.
Dubai, UAE, and open to full-time motion design and 3D roles in the UAE and the wider Gulf, as well as remote roles internationally. The fastest route is email: motiondesigner@huzaifarafiq.com. A CV and full breakdowns are on the hire page.
